I've completed about half the class, and I'm a little disappointed with what it offers. Here are my biggest criticisms for this course:
-> There's not enough examples and explanations using IDEs and code. It seems like most concepts are explained using a blackboard or presentation slides.
-> The Code Assignments seem a bit broken and lack proper instructions. Their difficulty lies mostly in understanding what the evaluation system requires you to do, by fixing the compilation errors.
-> Finally, I feel like this class doesn't give enough emphasis on C++ specific features. While there's nothing wrong with doing things the C-way, this class should be more upfront.
I'd rate it 70% beginner-friendly. However, the remaining 30% poses some challenges, primarily because certain topics and code snippets were presented in Notepad rather than an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), making it harder for me to grasp.
